PAHIATUA SALE. PRICES UP TO LATE RATES. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report that at the Pahiatua stock sale yesterday a good entry of dairy stock came forward and sold under keen competition at prices fully up to late rates. Guaranteed sound cows made up to £lO 7s 6d and springing hetifers to £9 ss, both of these prices being obtained for an offering on behalf of Mr J. J. Sorensen, of Rakanui. They quote:— Springing heifers, best, £9 ss; more backward and small. £6 to £7 15s; best guaranteed dairy cows, £9 10s to £lO 7s 6d; more backward, £7 15s; good second calvers, £9 10s to £9 17s 6d.
