GOLD MINING RETURNS Worksop Extended dredge reports a return of 31oz from 11,000 cubic yards worked in 133 hours. White’s Electric dredge has been working through shallow ground, and for this reason there was no wash-up last. week. Barrytown Gold Dredging return for August, with July return in parentheses,is as follows: Hours 417 (400); cubic yards, 174,000 (184,000); smelted gold, ounces, 774 (476); cost, £5BOO (£2200); net value, £2300 (£3550). The Blackball Creek dredge return was 51oz for 12,500 yards treated. The Rimu dredge return was 254 ounces from 61,087 cubic yards worked in 134 hours.
