CRIPPLED CHILDREN

WAIRARAPA EXECUTIVE MEETS. TREATMENT OF CASES. At the fortnightly meeting of the Wairarapa Executive of the N.Z. Crippled Children Society held yesterday afternoon, it was reported that arrangements for a crippled boy to be taught boot repairing were being finalised. A girl who recently underwent an arthrodesis operation is making very satisfactory progress. A course of massage has been prescribed after which it is hoped that the full use of her arm will be restored. Payment of board and travelling expenses was authorised. Another case at present receiving treatment in Wellington is making good progress. Steps are being taken to ensure that this youth’s education will be carried on by attendance at the Technical School.
