A Featherston visitor to Auckland is Mrs H. R. Bloxham. Mrs Smith (Feilding) is staying with Mrs F. Corrie, Dixon Street, Masterton. Mrs M. Cleghorn, who has been visiting Lower Hutt, has returned to Masterton. Miss Peggy Sellar, Colombo Road, Masterton, is the guest of Miss Marjory Todd, Wanganui. Miss Cocker, Albert Street, Masterton, has returned from a visit to Sydney. Miss Rita Elliott, of Colombo Road, has returned to Masterton after a trip to Australia. Mrs H. Sharpies, of Island Bay, Wellington, is staying with Mrs Latham, 18 Miriam Street, Masterton. Mrs C. G. Monro, King Edward Street, Lansdowne, is staying with her daughter, Mrs N. Smith, Wadestown. Miss Marjory Bloxam, of Featherston, who is visiting Auckland, is the guest of Mrs Le Grove, formerly' of Featherston. Mrs R. Gyde, Hastwells, who was a patient at the Masterton Public Hospital for some seven weeks, has now fully recovered and returned home. A number of friends were entertained at the home of Mr and Mrs D. Brown, Worksop Road, Masterton, recently by Mr and Mrs C. Needham (Michael Street) in connection with the coming of age of their eldest daughter, Edith. The usual toasts were honoured and the guest of honour was the recipient of many beautiful and useful gifts.

PIRINOA , (“Times-Age” Special.) Mrs Geo. Busch is staying with her son, Mr W. Busch, Otaraia. Misses Joan and Miriam Lovegrove have left on a visit to Auckland. Miss Mary Smith, Wellington, is staying with her sister, Mrs Waiwera. Miss Edgelow, who has been the guest of Miss N. McDougall for the past three months, returned to Auckland on Wednesday. Mrs Una Thompson, Dannevirke, arrived on Wednesday to superintend the' preparations for the Green and Gold Ball next week. She is staying with Mrs Carter.
