TRANSFERS ON PROMOTION (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., This Day Mr G. Clark, Chief Postmaster at Palmerston North, is being transferred to a similar post at Christchurch, taking over duties there on October 1 and replacing Mr F. W. Furby, now retiring on superannuation. Mr Clark has occupied his present position since January, 1937. Mr A. N. Wallace, Chief Postmaster at Nelson, succeeds Mr Clark here.
