FASHION GOODS
NEW STYLES ON DISPLAY. Advance showing of early Spring goods at Vivian Joseph’s, Queen Street, includes some very chic styles in ladies’ lightweight tweed coats. For example, a smart little green “swagger’’ coat has a stitched collar buttoning to the neck, Raglan sleeves, and lining of broche rayon. Coats for the coming season are showing decidedly more colour, the most favoured being honey-gold, mist blue, henna, and soft tones of green. Vivian Joseph’s are also showing natty Spring suits in mermaid blue, hopey-gold, henna, and night blue. These have zipp fasteners at pockets and collars, and are very reasonably priced. New Spring blouses and fronts are on display in Vivian Joseph’s windows. Smart satin “Paisley” fronts for wearing under costumes and coats, at 3s lid each, are already ' much in demand. New stocks of ladies blouses, include extra large sizes, the most popular tones being deep cream, beige, and pale gold. A consignment of infants’ wear has just arrived. Charming little locknit Crocks in pastel tones, with gathered yokes and embroidered collars are priced from 3s lid. Also pretty little cardigans and matinee coats to match. The new millinery at Vivian Joseph’s includes some smart shapes in Sisal Straw and light fabrics. Navy is indicated as the most popular tone for early spring, and small shapes “off the face” are a feature. A visit to Vivian Joseph’s shop in Queen Street just now is well worth your while. The staff will be only too pleased to show visitors the new goods.
