ELECTRICAL TRADERS
NEW ZEALAND FEDERATION CONFERENCE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, September 7. The annual conference of the New Zealand Electrical Traders’ Federation was held recently at Wellington, Mr J. M. Fleming presiding. The report stated that as the result of a membership campaign the numerical strength of local associations had been increased and a further organised effort was being planned. Officers elected were: President, Mr J. M. Fleming (Wellington); vice-presi-dent, Mr H. S. Lambui;d (Wellington); executive committee, Messrs J. A. C. Allum, J. F. Armitage (Auckland association), P. S. Turner, L. James (Canterbury), C. J. Darracott, H. P. Desmoulins (Dunedin), Fleming, Lamburd (Wellington Wholesalers’ Association), and W. S. Cederholm and G. W. Waite (Wellington Contractors’ Association); advisory committee, Messrs S. Corry-Wright (Auckland), R. A. Redpath (Canterbury), C. S. Stewart (Dunedin), Fleming (Wellington Wholessalers), Cederholm (Wellington Contractors); hon auditor, Mr R. P. Porter (Wellington), secretary and treasurer, Mr Frank Ross (Wellington). The next conference will be held in Wellington.
