Despite the presence of a bodyguard, bandits ambushed today, between Haifa and Tel Aviv, a car containing a well-known business man, Mr Yechiel, brother of the Zionist leader, Dr Chaim Weizmann, puncturing the tyres with bullets and causing the car to overturn. The bandits then riddled it with bullets, killing the son of a leading lawyei- and wounding all the other occupants. Bandits in ambush fired on a cartful of workers going home from Nessziona today, killing a newly-arrived migrant and seriously wounding two other Jews and a girl.
