STANDARDS OF WAIRARAPA HOTELS LICENSING COMMITTEE MEETS Mr H. P. Lawry, S.M., presided at the quarterly sitting of the Wairarapa Licensing Committee, held today at Carterton. An application for the .tranference of the licence of the Lake Ferry Hotel from F. Brough to Hugh Swainson was granted. Mr Lawry said that all the police reports for the quarter were quite favourable. There had been only two convictions for minor breaches of the Licensing Act. Senior-Sergeant G. A. Doggett said he had no complaints to make.
