DEFENCE OF LONDON
AIR MINISTER INSPECTS BALLOON BARRAGE. (British Official Wireless.) (Recd This Day, 10.10 a.m.) RUGBY, September 6. The Secretary of State for Air, Sir Kingsley Wood inspected balloon barrage squadrons at Kidbroke Park at Eltham in Kent. The balloon barrage is intended to play an important part in the defence of London from air attack.
