INTOXICATED MOTORISTS
HAWKE’S BAY DRIVERS FINED (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NAPIER, September 6. Two motorists were convicted in the Magistrates’ Court, Hastings, today, on charges of having been intoxicated while in charge of cars. Clive Joseph Noble, Dannevirke, tobacconist, was fined £2O and his licence was suspended for a year, and George Aranui Graham was fined £lO, and his licence suspended for six months. ...In the Magistrates’ Court, Napier, Paul Mini,. Taradale, was fined- £2O; and prohibited from holding a licence for two years,- for having been drunk while in charge of a car. Senior-Ser-geant W. Pender said Mini was in a thoroughly drunken condition, and collided with another car at Greenmeadows.
