ORDER OF DRUIDS

STONEHENGE LODGE. MEETING. DATE OF RITUAL CONTEST. The fortnightly meeting of Stonehenge Lodge was held in the Foresters’ Hall last evening, the A.D., Bro. A. E. Levick, presiding over a good attendance of members. A motion of condolence was passed to the relatives of the late Bro. E. Welch, the members standing in silence. Favourable reports were received on the sick brethren of the lodge. Accounts amounting to £74 6s 3d were, passed for payment. The lodge agreed to the Totara Lodge’s request to hold the ritual contest for the lodges of No. 1 District at Carterton on September 26. A report was received from the card team, stating that the combined Eketahuna lodges had defeated the combined Masterton lodges. At the conclusion of business an enjoyable game of bowls was played.
