BERNSTEIN RETURNS ITALIAN DECORATIONS “INVENTED RACIALISM” CONDEMNED (Recd This Day, 10.5 a.m.) PARIS, September 5 M. Henri Bernstein the French and international playwright, has returned his Italian decorations to Signor Mussolini stating: “I no longer regard it an honour to wear them while you, in the name of recently invented racialism, persecute Italians who are beyond reproach.”
