GREYHOUND RACING

NEW SPORT FOR MASTERTON. At a meeting of the Wairarapa Coursing Club, held last evening in :he Y.M.C.A. rooms, it was unanimously decided to take immediate steps to start speed-coursing or tin hare racing, as it is commonly known, in Masierton. Ten new members were elected. Great interest is being taken in the project, as was evidenced by the number present at the meeting. 1 A sub-committee was appointed to negotiate for a suitable ground. It is nost fortunate that there are at least two suitable grounds in Masterton. □ther sub-committees have been appointed to purchase material for the erection of the plant.
