CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL IN N.S.W. SYDNEY, September 4. In the Rugby League final, Canter-bury-Bankstown won the premiership on Saturday by beating Eastern Suburbs 19-6. The half-time score was 4-3 in favour of Canterbury. A thrilling contest was watched by a crowd of 20,000. Canterbury gained the mastery in the last 15 minutes.
