Lady Hunter, accompanied by her daughter, Miss Elizabeth Hunter, left Wellington by the Wanganella this week on a short visit to Sydney. Mr and Mrs H? F. O’Leary, Wellington, and their son have left by the Wanganella for a holiday visit to Australia. Miss Jean Moncrieff, of Carterton, who has been home on sick leave, has returned to duty at Dr Sharpe’s hospital, Featherston. Mrs Rona Avann, of Wellington, the Dominion President of the Solway College Old Girls’ Association, will be a week-end guest of Mr and Mrs Eric Shaw, Te Ore Ore.
