Immediately rebel warships entered British territorial waters, near where the loyalist destroyer, Jose Luis Diez was under repairs, the British destroyer Isis signalled the alarm and the intruders departed. A Burgos message states that the rebels claim complete domination of the loyalist positions on the Estremadura front.
