FOREIGN JEWS

EXPULSION FROM ITALY & COLONIES. (Recd This Day, 9.25 a.m.) ROME, September 1. Cabinet has issued a decree forbidding the presence of foreign Jews in Italy, Libya and other Italian colonies. They are ordered to leave within six months or else they will be expelled. Naturalisation after January 1, 1939, is cancelled. The decree defines a Jew as one whose parents are of the Jewish faith even though he or she does not profess their religion.
