SCHOOL SOCCER
NEW ZEALAND BOYS WIN IN MELBOURNE. MELBOURNE, September 1. The New Zealand schoolboys were too clever for the Melbourne schools at Soccer here today, winning by six goals to nil. Features of the game ■were the defence of Taylor, the anticipation of Yeoman, and the unselfishness of the whole team. The visitors scored after five minutes, Yeoman heading a perfectlyplaced free kick. Later Yeoman, who was a tower of strength in the front line, added three goals, and was instrumental in getting the ball to Clarke, who scored the sixth goal. Prominent for New Zealand were: Taylor, Shannahan, Yeoman, McLachlan, and Singer.
