INDOOR BASKETBALL

Y.M.C.A. COMPETITION RESULTS The inter-house indoor basketball competition, conducted under the auspices of the Masterton Y.M.C.A., has been concluded, C. Smith Ltd with 12 points being the winners. Faulknor’s Service Station and Reliance Re-built Tyre Co were runners-up with 10 points each, P. Hamill and Co., next with 6 points, and Harcombe Motors last with 2 points. The concluding games of the competition played this week, resulted as follow:—Reliance Re-built Tyre Co beat C. Smith, Ltd., by default, Faulknor’s Service Station beat Harcombe Motors, 25/2. Next Wednesday night practice games will be played in the Y.M.C.A. gymnasium. All teams wishing to take part are requested to notify the secretary. On the following Tuesday night, a knock-out competition will be held.
