WEDDING
. GREATHEAD—CUMING The wedding was solemnised recently at the Marton Methodist Church of Eva Thelma, elder daughter of the Rev W. B. and Mrs Cuming, Marton, to Gordon, second son of Mr L. Greathead and the late Mrs Greathead, Grey town. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a cream satin and lace gown with train. The bridesmaid, Miss Joy Cuming, sister of the bride, wore green satin with lace redingote. Both carried beautiful bouquets of freesias, cyclamen and narcissi. The reception was held in the adjoining schoolroom. The guests were received by the bride’s mother, who wore a navy ensemble. Among the guests were the bride’s grandmother, Mrs Macfarlane, Christchurch, Mr S. G. Macfarlane, M.A., Ashburton, Mr S. R, Cuming, Christchurch, Mr and Mrs M. Greathead, Greytown, and numerous relatives and friends of both families from many parts of the North Island. The bride travelled in a green costume with matching accessories. Mr and Mrs Greathead will make their home at Feilding.
