GUN DOG TRIALS

NORTH ISLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS. ENTRIES CLOSING TONIGHT. Entries close tonight for the North Island Gun Dog Championships, also the Wairarapa Championships to be run in conjunction, which this year will be held at Masterton on Saturday and Sunday next. Considerable interest is being taken in the meeting, which will be held on Mr H. Nee’s property, Opaki Road. The North Island All Breed Championship, which will be run over both land and water, provides a good test of a dog’s capabilities. This event is drawing large entries and competition is sure to be keen.
