.VARSITY TEAM BEATEN. WIN FOR WAIKATO. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) HAMILTON, August 30. In a disappointing game, the Waikato Rugby representatives beat the Nbw Zealand University representatives in Hamilton this afternoon by 13 points to six. The game was played in fine weather but the slippery ground had players unable to keep their feet. Numerous injuries marred the play, and altogether there were five replacements. Egan kicked two penalty goals for University. Heeps kicked a penalty, Wynyard and Hawke scored, and Conder potted a goal for Waikato.
