AMERICA CROSSED IN TEN HOURS. BURBANK (California), August 30. Major Alexander de Seversky, the famous aircraft designer, broke Roscoe Turner’s westward trans-continental record today by 87 minutes, flying from New York in 10 hours three minutes. He made a stop for refuelling at Kansas City.
