MEETING OF MINISTERS
KEEN INTEREST DISPLAYED IN LONDON UNSENSATIONAL REPORT ISSUED. MR CHAMBERLAIN GOING TO BALMORAL. By Telegraph—Press Association. Copyright. (Recd This Day, 10.5 a.m.) LONDON, August 30. An exceptionally large crowd remained in Downing Street for the duration of the Ministers’ meeting, which lasted from 11 a.m. till 1.40 p.m. The British Ambassador to Germany, Sir Neville Henderson, attended. Neither No 10 Downing Street nor the Foreign Office is disposed to amplify a bare communique, which stated: “The Foreign Secretary fully reported on the international situation and Ministers expressed their entire agreement with the action already taken; likewise with the policy to be pursued in future. No further meeting has been arranged, but Ministers will remain within reach of London.” The Prime Minister, Mr Neville Chamberlain, will go to Balmoral tonight.
