LAND SPEED RECORD
MR COBB’S PRELIMINARY RUN (Recd This Day, 11.40 a.m.) BONNEVILLE SALT FLATS, August 30. It is estimated that Mr J. Cobb reached a speed of 300 miles an hour in his first run in an.attempt to break the world land speed record.
