Rain, 2 points. General situation: There has been little change in pressure over New Zealand: at Chatham Islands, however, there has been a further considerable fall while over eastern Australia and the north Tasman Sea the rise has continued. Forecast: Moderate to strong north-wast to westerly winds, backing later to south-westerly and decreasing; weather mainly fair to cloudy but occasional brief showers still possible; temperatures mild but becoming cooler.
