VICE-REGAL VISIT
LORD AND LADY GALWAY IN DUNEDIN. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN. August 29. This morning, the Governor-General, Lord Galway, .visited the premises of Radiation (N.Z.) Ltd. and Cadbury, Fry, Hudson. He lunched at the University Club rooms, where he delivered a brief address. Her Excellency, at the invitation of the mayoress, Mrs A. H. Allen, met representatives of women’s organisations at a luncheon at the Women’s Club. In the afternoon his Excellency opened the annual New Zealand amateur billiards championships at the Returned Soldiers’ Association rooms, and later visited the Roslyn Woollen Mills. Lady Galway made an inspection of the Karitane Hospital at Anderson’s Bay. In the evening his Excellency officially opened the new St John ambulance headquarters in York Place. Tomorrow he will visit the Waipori Falls power station as the guest of the city council. Later in the afternoon he will meet members of the Otago Officers’ Club and in the evening will inspect the Otago Division of the R.N.V.R. Her Excellency will be entertained at the Y.W.C.A. during the evening.
