General situation: The anti-cyclone which has been slowly crossing the Dominion is now centred near the Chatham Island and is still very intense; a rather shallow cyclonic depression is located north.-west of Cape Maria Van Diemen and pressure is Low over Eastern Australia. Forecast: Winds, east to northeast, moderate to fresh mostly but strong ire exposed positions. Weather: Dull ano' misty, with rain in the eastern areas and gradually becoming more widespread; temperatures moderate.
