CAR CONVERSION

MASTERTON GARAGES VISITED DURING NIGHT A large sedan car belonging to Mr P. G. Ramsay, of 118 Essex Street, was taken from his garage last night. It was recovered this morning abandoned on the roadside at Solway, near the Showgrounds. The garage of Mr S. M. Baird, Cole Street, was broken into during the night, the padlock being wrenched off. As the car was locked, however, it could not be removed.
