EKETAHUNA SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:—A small yarding of dairy cattle and a good entry of pigs was submitted to a poor attendance. There was practically no demand for dairy cattle, bidding for good two-year heifers on drop going to £6 7s 6d without a sale being effected. The market for pigs was weaker than was expected but sales were made at gaol figures. Quotations: —Large slips, 255, 225: best weaners, 265; medium weaners, 18s; small weaners, 12s. Birch posts, £3 10s per 100.
