HARRIERS
PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS. KIATERE CLUB TEAMS. Tomorrow for the first time the Wellington Provincial Cross Country Championships will be held from St. Patrick’s College, Silverstream. The course from all accounts will be an improvement on the one used in recent years at Lyall Bay. It has been decided this year to start the A and B grade runners together. The Kiatere Harrier Club will be represented by a team in each grade although this year is rather unfortunate in that on account of sickness quite a few prominent runners were not available for selection. The following runners will represent the club: —A team: W. Burgess, R. Greeks, A. McDonald, J. Laing, W. McDonald, A. Burns. B team: B. Falloon, G. Strong, J. L. Burns, D. Nelson, D. Askew, A. L. McDonald. Members will make the trip by private cars.
