The committee of the British Association for the Advancement of Science has already agreed on preliminary steps to establish a “world brain trust” of scientists, with an Anglo-American nucleus. Special lectureships are being initiated almost immediately, Englishmen going to America and Americans coming to England in alternate years. Twenty to thirty members of the British Association are becoming honorary members of the American Association and vice versa.
