COSY THEATRE
, “EDUCATING .FATHER.” “Educating Father,” featuring the famous Jones family, and “Show Them No Mercy,” screen finally tonight at the Cosy Theatre. “WIDE OPEN FACES.” There will be much gaiety on the screen of the Cosy Theatre tomorrow night, for Joe E. Brown will be back, and he has brought with him a ribtickling story, and a splendid cast. Brown has dished out heaps of fun in his career, but rarely has he been as generous with his helping as he is in Columbia’s “Wide Open Faces.” Such able and attractive performers as Lyda Robert!, Alison Skipworth, Jane Wyman, Alan Baxter, Lucien Littlefield, Berton Churchill, Barbara Pepper and Sidney Toler do much to enhance the general merriment. It is a well stocked cast. Top rank comedians and popular screen players will be seen in the featured roles of “Reckless Living,” a fast moving comedy drama, which will open tomorrow night at the Cosy Theatre. Heading the trio of funsters is Jimmie Savo, world-famous pantomimist. With him are Charles Judels and Frank Jenks. In the romantic leads will be seen Robert Wilcox, Nan Grey and William Lundigan.
