ARMED BANDS
SNIPING ROAD TRAFFIC IN PALESTINE ROUTED BY BRITISH FORCE FOURTEEN BANDITS KILLED (British Official Wireless.) (Recd This Day, 10.40 a.m.) RUGBY, August 24. A report from Palestine states that a miliary and police force routed a series of armed bands, which had been sniping traffic on the NazarethTiberias Road. Fourteen bandits were killed. One British soldier was serious wounded.
