He thought these causes should be investigated as well as facial eczema cases. Mr G. McGregor said facial eczema was still in existence. He cited a case of a farmer who sent 60 hoggets to the Patea works; 12 had been found to be suffering from internal eczema. Mr Hammond said it was a serious matter. The union was urging increased grants for research purposes. It was decided that the Wanganui provincial offee forward information to the head office.
