BUSINESS ON DOMINION EXCHANGES DETAILS OF YESTERDAY’S SALES The following sales were recorded on the Dominion Stock Exchanges yesterday:—* WELLINGTON Sale price.
GOLD MINING RETURNS Argo dredge, 62 ounces from 14,500 cubic yards in 132 hours. Nemona dredge, 48 ounces from 14,300 cubic yards in 122 hours. Worksop Extended dredge, 50 ounces from 9000 cubic yards in 125 hours. Bulolo Gold Dredging, Limited, reports that for the month of July the total gross production amounted to 19,667 ounces of bullion, containing 13,569 ounces of fine gold from 1,232,000 cubic yards. Estimated working profit 8900 ounces of fine gold. The above production is equivalent to £118,729, and working profit to £77875 on the basis of £8 15s (Australian) per fine ounce of gold. North Kalgurli (1912), Ltd, reports that during the month of July, 11,551 net tons were treated, 8896 tons from stoping and 2655 tons from development. . Revenue from ore treated, including estimated gold premium, was £37,759. Expenditure: Mining and treatment (including cost of excess ore broken in stopes during the month), £16,004. Development £3618. Surface equipment £5. Development for the month 701 feet.
