CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL. Very keen interest is being taken in the championship final between Carterton and Kiwi which is to be played at Lansdowne on Saturday and followers of the game will be assured of a good exhibition of the code. In the last, match Kiwi won but since thenhave lost the services of their star back in B. H. Massey. Carterton has considerably strengthened their team with the inclusion of Brown, a Wellington representative forward.
The winners of the combined women’s hockey clubs’ competitions were Mr J. Nyhan and Mrs McGrath.
