GERMAN SETS WORLD RECORD. (Recd This Day, 10.5 a.m.) BERLIN, August 22. Karl Hein, winner of the 1936 Olympic hammer throw, broke the twentyfive year old record with a throw of 190 feet 10 inches. The former record was held by the American, P. Ryan, with 189 feet 64 inches.
