WELLINGTON SOUTH SEAT. CANDIDATE SELECTED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Mr D. P. Howlett, of the headquarters staff of the National Party, has been selected as the National candidate for Wellington South. He is 44 years of age, and served throughout the war in the Ist Canterbury infantry. He was six times wounded, thrice at Gallipoli and thrice in France. He was awarded the military medal in 1916 and given a commission in the field.
