A NEW LAW
PREPARATIONS FOR TRIAL OF SCHUSCHNIGG. AND OTHER FORMER MINISTERS IN AUSTRIA. (Recd This Day, 12.35 p.m.) BERLIN, August 21. The first step in the trial of Dr Schuschnigg, late Chancellor of Austria, is in a law providing that former Austrian Government members and their associates may be tried before a special Vienna State Court for treasonable activities. Herr Buerkel is preparing the indictments and Herr Hitler is appointing the members of the Court. Those found guilty may be deprived of German citizenship and their property confiscated as reparation for alleged crimes.
