CZECH CONCESSIONS
APPOINTMENT OF GERMANS AS OFFICIALS SOME IMPORTANT POSTS INCLUDED. LORD RUNCTMAN WELCOMES ACTION. (Recd This Day, 9.55 a.m.) PRAGUE, August 19. Dr. Hodza has informed Viscount Runciman that seven postmasterships in Sudetenland are being allotted to officials of German nationality within a fortnight; also further posts in overseers’ departments. M. Troppau Brno, Minister of the Interior, will shortly appoint four Germans as district governors in the neighbourhood of the’ Czechoslovakian frontier. Cabinet will discuss a proposal to appoint a German to the presidency of the Regional Court at Cheb, while early information will be given to Lord Runciman regarding the allottment of- im portant posts under the Ministries of Railway and Finance. Lord Runciman. in acknowledging the information, welcomed the action taken.
