$ WAIRARAPA RUGBY TEAM IN DANNEVIRKE. HOCKEY TOURNEY POSTPONED. The first Rugby fifteen of Wairarapa College, in charge of Mr J. E. Tier, left Masterton yesterday afternoon to compete in the quadrangular Rugby tournament at Dannevirke. Other teams taking part are those representing the Dannevirke High School, Hutt Valley' High School ■ and Scots College. The opening games will be played this afternoon and the tournament will be continued on Monday. Quite a number of Masterton supporters are visiting Dannevirke to see the local boys in action. The senior boys' hockey team was greatly disappointed yesterday when advice was received that the secondary schools hockey tournament, which was to have been held in Wanganui next week, had been abandoned owing to the prevalence of measles. Nine teams from Wellington to Auckland had intended to compete at the tournament.
