On the orders of the Gestapo, Captain Thomas Kendrick, British Passport Control Officer in Vienna, was arrested on entering the old Reich on his way to England on furlough. Captain Kendrick, a British subject, has occupied his present position for eighteen years. The charge is not revealed. Mr L. Henderson, M.P., has asked the foreign ministry for an explanation.
