General situation: A shallow depression is now crossing the Dominion and a slight secondary is following it; pressure is, however, high to the east and an anticyclone is moving on to the western Tasman *Sea. Forecast: Light to moderate and rather variable winds, weather mainly fair to cloudy but oc-, casional rain probable; temperatures mild.
