4 SCRIPTURE EXAMINATION RESULTS The annual Scripture examination held by the Wellington Sunday School Union was conducted this year on the first Saturday in July, 399 children and one teaching sitting for the examination. Of the children, 351 passed, and 103 gained prizes. The highest marks in Grade VI, 95 per cent, were obtained by Betty Conly (Masterton Methodist), and Edna Sparks (Kakariki).
