FEATHERSTON

KAHUTARA SOCIAL CLUB. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Kahutara Social Club held its usual euchre tournament and dance in the Kahutara* Hall last Saturday night, when there was a good attendance of district residents. The winners in the card tournament were: Ladies, Mrs Chisholm 1, Miss D. Chisholm 2; men, Mr Peter Matenga 1, Mr O. Fenwick 2. The winners of the Lucky Spot Dance were Miss B. Simmonds and partner. SERVICES APPRECIATED. The Kahutara Drama Circle met at the Kahutara Hall yesterday afternoon and presented their producer, Mrs T. Duffy, with a small token of esteem and a shoulder spray. Reference was made by several speakers to the excellent service Mrs Duffy had rendered the Drama Circle in her official capacity. Afternoon tea brought an enjoyable function to'a close.
