A Colonial Office advice states that yesterday two Jews were seriously injured when a land-mine exploded under a lorry in which they were travelling in the Tulkarm, a sub-district. A Jewish lorry was-ambushed yesterday at Mount Carmel, when eight Jews were killed, including two supernumaries, and a Jew and two Jewesses were wounded. Troops posted in the neighbourhood at once engaged the ambushers and, with aircraft co-opera-tion, killed seven and wounded many more. /Five rifles and a quantity of ammunition were seized.
