LITTLE THEATRE SOCIETY

♦ PREPARATIONS FOR FIRST PRODUCTION. Now definitely established, the Masterton Little Theatre Society is making tentative arrangements for its first production, which will probably take place about the middle of next month. The play under consideration is Mr Justice Wooll’s? “Libel,” which has a cast of 30 players, all of whom are on the stage throughout the entire presentation. The producer will be Mr F. C. McCallum, who is already busy trying out players for selection in the cast. It is hoped to introduce in this play an "impressionistic” production treatment which is. entirely new to Masterton audiences. It is stated that the active membership of the society is already nearing the hundred mark.
