MOTHS AND CARPETS
PREVENTIVE MEASURE. To prevent moths from getting into your carpet, before it is put down, wash the boards over with turpentine. Moths dislike the smell of turpentine and will not be likely to attack the carpet if the floor next to it has been washed over with it.
